Pablo was an amazing guide highly recommend. Very experienced and knowledgeable we kept a comfortable pace and safe the entire time. Although we didn't summit it was worth it and will have to come back again for better weather conditions.

I was overwhelming pleased with Elisabeth and her team at Andean Adventures. She customized a tour for me that met all of my requirements and the result was an extraordinary adventure that I will never forget. Every little detail was considered and addressed. All of the accommodations, transfer drivers and the climbing guide exceeded my expectations. The most exceptional aspect was the constant contact throughout the time I was in Ecuador. Elisabeth or her team checked in with me daily. I have never experienced a tour operator who contacted me first to check in and confirm that I was doing well and see if I needed anything. This is certainly extraordinary service and illustrates the heart of the operator. I would not change a thing on the itinerary although the next time I will carve out more overall days to acclimatize. The altitude is no joke. If you are coming to hike and climb make sure you have added enough time to your holiday to properly acclimatize. When, not if, I come back Elisabeth and Andean Adventures will be my first choice! Reach out to them and you will be in great hands!

We enjoyed our stay in the lodge before the hike up to Iliniza Norte. The provided food on both days was very good. All the people were very friendly and helpful! The lodge owner lighted a fire so we could dry our fully wet gear at the end of the first day. Jaime was absolutely essential at helping us climb Iliniza Norte - it was a challenging hike for us and he was always there to help. We had a great experience.

I want to sincerely thank the entire team at Andean Summit Adventures for designing and executing an amazing experience. From the early planning stages through the final day on the mountain, everything was organized, thoughtful, and professionally managed. The logistics, acclimatization strategy, pacing, and safety protocols were clearly built from deep local knowledge and real high-altitude expertise. A special thank you to Sebastian for his wonderful guiding. His technical competence, calm judgment, and situational awareness gave me confidence at altitude. Beyond keeping me safe, he took the time to teach, explaining pacing, breathing techniques, terrain management, layering strategy, and the nuances of trekking and climbing in the Andes. I would confidently recommend Andean Summit Adventures to anyone serious about trekking or climbing in Ecuador.

Beyond 6,000 meters: A perfectly organized 5-peak expedition in Ecuador! My friend and I recently returned from an epic mountaineering trip in Ecuador, booked through WeTravel with Andean Summit Adventure. Coming from Slovenia, we needed a reliable partner to organize a high-altitude expedition, and this experience exceeded all our expectations. The Planning & Itinerary From our first contact Elisabeth was professional and helpful. She designed a flawless 5-peak acclimatization program that was key to our success: 1. Guagua Pichincha 2. El Corazon 3. Iliniza Norte 4. Cotopaxi 5. Chimborazo (Our ultimate goal!) The schedule was perfectly balanced with enough rest days to recover, but those days remained active and culturally enriching. The Team in Ecuador • Mountain Guide (Jaime): Jaime is a true guru of the Andes. He quickly recognized our strengths and weaknesses, guiding us safely through various weather conditions. He didn’t just lead us; he educated us, teaching us techniques to conserve energy. • Local Cultural Guides: During our rest days, local guides took us to hidden spots and shared the rich Ecuadorian culture with us. This added a wonderful depth to our trip beyond just mountaineering. • Logistics: Everything was seamless. Our driver provided a great first contact with the country upon arrival, and all transfers were punctual and safe. The Outcome Because the expedition plan was so well-thought-out, we successfully reached the summits of all five mountains! It was a challenging, emotional, and unforgettable journey. Final Verdict If you are looking for a professional, safe, and heart-centered team in Ecuador, I highly recommend booking through this agency. Every person involved contributed to us achieving our goals. A truly epic and unforgettable vacation!
